I've been living here in the Bay Area for a little over 6 months now. Since I'm so far from everything and everyone I love I just needed some place to call home. So I'm trying my hand at decorating. Not the whole apartment. I have one room in particular that's my pet project. Our den. Its not quite a bedroom because it doesn't have a door. Its just... space. I wanna turn it into a work space/somewhere my husband can play his Xbox. I've started buying a few things.

I've tried it before and I wanna try it again.

I had a blog that I let fall to the wayside.  But I've missed blogging and I have even more of a reason to now... I've moved.

I've picked up everything and moved from New York to San Jose, California.  I know no one except for my husband. Don't know where to go eat, don't know where to shop, or to party.  

If this isn't a reason to document my life I don't know what is.  

Plus I see a lack of diversity among style bloggers out here. That needs to change.  

My hope is that you'll love and support this little pet project of mine.
